Dan Auerbach: Keep It Hid

As one half of The Black Keys, Dan Auerbach plays the vocal/guitar-playing yin to Pat Carney’s skin-bashing yang. Along the way, they’ve formed a self-described “two-man stomp” that’s gone from the lo-fi, post-blues rawness of the duo’s 2002 debut The Big Come Up to last year’s more sonically esoteric, Danger Mouse-produced Attack & Release.
