Investigators discovered a dead body in Farmingville on Thursday, Suffolk police said.
An extensive search by the Canine Section led to the discovery of a body in a wooded area on Express Drive North near Old Medford Avenue at 2 p.m., according to Homicide Squad detectives. The body has been taken to the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office where an autopsy will be performed
