Police said Mosley was with the other four suspects, armed with handguns, who forced their way into the victim’s home and demanded cash and jewelry. The homeowner was pistol-whipped in front of his wife, an adult son and two small children but the suspects were caught when a victim was able to get to a phone and call 911, police said.

Fourth Precinct officers responded and confronted the suspects who fled the scene. After a vehicle and foot pursuit, with the assistance of Canine and Aviation units, the suspects were apprehended nearby, police said.

Two of the suspects were arrested after they broke into a nearby home where they confronted a resident and stole his car keys in an attempt to flee, police said.

Previously Arrested were:  Darryl Byrd, 26, of Brentwood, Jaquan Giles, 24, of Amityville, William Mason, 31, of Brentwood, and Lorrelle Williams, 27, of Amityville. Each was charged with robbery and burglary.
