A Cutchogue man was arrested Thursday morning for possession of narcotics and a weapon after drug task force officials’ executed a search warrant at his home.
Thomas Bagley, 37, was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful dealings with a child after authorities raided his Skunk Lane home. Investigators with the East End Drug Task Force recovered 35 grams of crack and powdered cocaine, drug paraphernalia, a handgun, and more than $2,000 in cash.
Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said that Bagley was also being charged with unlawful dealings with a child after EEDTF personnel discovered a six-month old infant living in the house.
The EEDTF is a multi-jurisdictional drug enforcement unit funded by Spota, and is comprised of detectives, police officers, and law enforcement personnel from town police departments across the East End as well as the New York State Police.
Bagley was arraigned on Friday in Southold Town Justice Court.
