Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Dead Man

Nassau police are seeking the public’s assistance in determining the identity of a man who was found dead in Hempstead on June 15.

The victim, who is believed to be a 25-30-year-old Hispanic man and Hempstead resident, was brought to Mercy Hospital after he was found in front of an eatery at 305 Front Street. He is about 185 pounds, 5’6” tall with brown hair, brown eyes and no facial hair, scars or tattoos.

No information regarding the cause of his death is known. The victim’s names could possibly be either Juan Jose Gonzalez, Juan Gonzalez-Reyes or Juan Fuentes Gonzalez, according to Missing Person Section detectives.
