Whether anyone believes me, my life was damned near ruined- and for a while it felt ruined, because a woman and I will never know why, lied to save herself. The 7th precinct did not handle this case as they should have and I’ll say it openly, they lied as well. People need to know that it’s not alright to hate and attack people for any reason, but they also need to know that it’s not alright to lie and ruin the lives and reputations of innocent people. NEVER in my 26 years did I ever IMAGINE that I would be defending myself and trying to educate people on the seriousness of something like this. 10 months 2 weeks and 3 days later I’m still affected….eventhough all three of us accused have had our charges dismissed via ACOD. I just can’t seem to get used to the fact that for the rest of my life, I’ll be able to google my name and see the hateful things that are said and thought about me and they aren’t true. I have no intention of letting this rest, not until people are educated on the seriousness of LEGITIMATE HATE CRIMES, but also, not until people in every community, gay or otherwise are made aware that not everything printed or claimed is true. It’s sad that this story was a major one at the time of the incident and the truth wasn’t able to come out given the sensitive nature of the situation. Its sad that now, when the truth can be revealed and lessons can be learned by EVERYONE, there will be no reporters knocking on my door looking for the truth. It’s sad that bad “news” is repeated and gone over and bashed into the heads of readers/viewers- but when the truth comes out who is there to repeatedly bash that into the minds of readers/viewers??? My response has been a long time coming and I’ve never been able to tell the true story I figured now would be a good start….

I am a friend of Linsay’s and I am appauled that this is even being pointed her way. If you know Lindsay, you know how good of a person she is…It is unfair for them to even have their names involved with this!!! It is disgusting….seriously! I am so happy that their names were cleared and Lindsay is in no trouble at all!!! GO LINDSAY!!!

I am Selwyn’s girlfriend and the real story is that the lesbian was stalking the guy that lives at the house across from her with his wife and kids. That street is very white and racist and her neighbor is spanish. She would call cps on him take pictures of his guest. That day Nora and Lindsey came to visit and the girl came out and started bashing the cars with a bat. Thats when Nora came out to confront her and the lesbian swung at her. Lindsey and Selwyn were only bystanders and its sad that they are making this a hate crime when the girl is the one who is racist. That whole street is racist. I am glad that they wont be hit with a hate crime. Selwyn served 4 months for watching a fight because he has a record. Its all hype people nothing more.

What’s wrong with thinking that your a higher achieving (better person) than others? I support more people, I pay more of other peoples bills and I am (part) of the reason that, people who don’t get married and have kids, people who listen to loud abrasive gang music (while throwing garbage out of your car window) are allowed to survive as people. SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST!

I also don’t understand why you assume I an educated? That is an ignorant comment in itself.. Because i spell well, speak English correct? Those are basic skills that are learned in GRAMMAR school……I can assure I do not hold a college degree even. It’s called the Armed Services of America.

And let me assure you partner that my replies have been more than mere banter on a persons extremely poor use of our countries language but more of a reply on how he/she makes her self the core reason people from “that area” have a extremely poor reputation. Good day and God bless.

Rockel621, I am over it. Whether Lindsay is innocent or not, she has to deal with the humiliation of her mugshot in the internet. And I heard they kept repeating her arrest on the local TV news. angel2 I agree with you completely that people should also be discussing the other 2 but your sister came on here and stirred up a hornets nest…so now she has to deal with the backlash. Even though someone sent her an email she should have been adult about it there are lots of other ways she could have handled herself but she chose to be childish and petty and no matter what she or you say thats how we’re all gonna percive her…thats something else she can hang on to for a couple more years…I’m done with this site it’s getting to monotone.

My sister Angel was burned by Lindsay a few years ago. But Lindsay is not important to me to even discuss. Why isn’t anyone talking about the other 2. Are they that innocent or are they part of this problem of back and forth bashing? Has anyone considered this. My sister has a legitimate beaf with Lindsay. But someone emailed her what was going on Long Island, knowing well enough that it would get a reaction from her. I told her to forget the past. But you all should start thinking why the other 2 do not look so bad.Do me a favor think before you react.We would never know what is going on unless a trouble maker sent the information. I hope all goes well with Lindsay. But she has to be careful who she hangs out with. My sister cared about her and trusted her. But that is between them, not us.Even though my sister is mad at the past, she knows Lindsay is not a gay basher. She was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Angelbabie, no problem. Unlike the others, I would not jump to conclusion. I would be careful of them. They would turn on you in a flash. I know Lindsay from awhile back when I lived on the Island. Some one from the chats emailed me the site. All I can say is that she is not a good friend.Be careful. You see how Nicole was already wanting to get on your case. This will be my last email. Mr. Masion… from one educated person to another, you sound like an ass. So you may speak better then Dezz, use better spelling and grammar; and maybe in your brain, that’s all you need to assume you know the type of person she is. Maybe you feel as though your assumptions of her being the stereotypical welfare recipient with father-less children living off of working, tax paying citizens like ourselves are totally justified and valid. You probably didn’t think of that… Einstein. Under acheivers are the only ones who throw out the race card? That’s far from true and you’ve probably never had to think twice about someone making false assumptions about your character because of your race and background. You never mentioned race, but to anyone reading your comment, it’s apparent that you probably pictured Dezz as anything but white; living in a run down “bad” neighborhood, disturbing the peace with her blasting rap music. Are you so quick to assume the same if you pulled up next to someone blasting pop or rock or classical music? I’d bet you wouldn’t. Assumers generally look like asses because majority of the time they are wrong…as you are. Dezz is extremely smart and well mannered, not receiving state aid or a single parent. As a matter of fact, she has no children and is in school. How do you know, while trying to insult her, that she doesn’t suffer from a learning disorder like dyslexia? One would think that since you were so quick to assume everything else you could have actually assumed something that would make some sense.
