Problem was, Delvecchio paid for the memberships with a checking account that was either closed or had insufficient funds. Delvecchio would allegedly use the cards and purchase items at other BJ’s locations, and Delvecchio would either keep the items or return them for a refund. These acts tallied up to a loss of $3,181.65.

Crimes Against Property Squad detectives arrested the defendant at his residence on July 9 at 4:15 P.M. Delvecchio is being charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree and will be arraigned on Friday, 07/10/09 in First District Court, Hempstead.
