A Hempstead man was arrested yesterday after police say he could not produce a state-mandated license required to work security at an establishment that serves liquor.
Nassau County Police say that uncover officers were conducting visits of local establishments and observed Joe Littlejohn, 48, of 42 Virginia Ave. acting as security at Rio Mambo Bar at 110 Hempstead Turnpike.
Police took Littlejohn into custody after he could not show the required New York State Liquor Authority License while working as security for Rio Mambo Bar.

Littlejohn was taken to the Fifth Precinct and given a desk appearance ticket for a New York State General Business Law violation.
