Man Killed in Southern State Parkway Crash

A man was killed in a car crash on the Southern State Parkway on Tuesday afternoon, New York State Police said.

Witnesses told investigators that the grey Toyota Camry was speeding westbound and driving erratically before it left the roadway and struck a tree on the north shoulder just east of exit 29, killing the driver, who was alone in the car, police said. caution

The victim’s name being withheld pending his family’s notification.
