A Lynbrook gas station was robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday night, Nassau police said.

A gas station attendant at the Sunoco Gas Station on Scranton Avenue was approached by a white man who displayed a knife and demanded money at 7:30 p.m., according to 5th Squad detectives. The victim gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash before the robbed fled  eastbound.

Detectives ask anyone with information on the above robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
