She had dismissingly handed her lover a gift from her husband; seeing it in her lover's possession so enrages her husband that he kills him in a moment of passion. She later discovers to her utter guilt that the gift was a particularly special anniversary present; she also discovers to her utter embarrassment that her lover was married as well. Ultimately the couple goes the police to report the murder. I may be crazy, but that doesn't sound like a resounding approval of infidelity. “… Hollywood thinks marriage sucks.”

A woman who is OK with sleeping with a married man is as bad as the man himself, too.
