A Central Islip man was found dead in his apartment, according to the Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad.

Third Precinct Police officers responded to a call at 7:10 p.m. on Aug. 21 from Court Plaza Apartments in Central Islip. Upon arrival, the officers were informed by a woman that she came to her father’s apartment to check on him and discovered him dead.

Angel Liciaga, 67, was found dead in his apartment. Detectives are still looking for information but believe he may be the victim of violence.
