Billy Joel is selling a pair of adjacent homes in the Hamptons for $35 million after a split from third wife Katie Lee Joel, which means we can no longer drive by on weekends singing ‘We Didn’t Start The Fire’ out the window at the top of our lungs.
The bigger of the two homes once belonged to the late “Jaws” actor, Roy Scheider. Joel bought it for his newlywed wife in 2004. He also purchased a bungalow on adjacent property in 2007.
Billy and Katie Lee announced they were separating in June after five years of marriage.
Real estate agent Biana Stepanian says the larger home is selling for $22.5 million and the bungalow is selling for $12.5 million.
