Gulotta Honored At American Kidney Fund Golf Outing

Former Nassau County Executive Tom Gulotta was honored recently at the American Kidney Fund’s Fourth Annual New York Golf Classic. The event was held on Aug. 3 at the Hamlet Golf and Country Club in Commack and raised more than $103,000 for the Fund. It included a brunch, cocktail reception and buffet dinner for eats, as well as 18 holes of golf, an awards presentation and live auction.

“We are pleased with the success of this year’s New York Golf Classic and want to thank our friends and supporters in the Northeast,” said  LaVarne A. Burton, the Fund’s president and CEO. “It was a privilege to recognize the Honorable Thomas. S. Gulotta for his service to the American Kidney Fund and to dozens of other organizations.”

Gulotta currently serves as a special counsel to law firm Albanese & Albanese, LLP, as well as CEO of consulting form Executive Strategies, LLC.

The American Kidney Fund is the No. 1 of funding for kidney disease treatment, doling out more than $119.5 million in 2008, $1.6 million of which went to patients in NY. For more information, visit www.kidneyfund.org
