After throwing out the first pitch at the new Yankee Stadium Friday in the Yankee’s vs. White Sox game, tennis great Serena Williams headed to Huntington’s newest hotspot Porto Vivo on Gerard Street for dinner with Home Shopping Network Maven Joy Mangano, recently named of of Fast Company’s Most Creative People of 2009. Williams, her manager and her sister Isha joined Porto Vivo owners Joy Mangano and Philipp Seipelt and Seipelt’s fiancée Christie Mangano. They dined in the upper level dining room where Williams enjoyed steamed littleneck clams and grilled branzino. Serena skipped vintages from the wine cellar instead opting for water gearing up for play at the upcoming US Open next week.
