2 Teens Robbed at Oceanside School

Suspects threatened the victims with a cane

nassaucopcar-300x1691Two teenagers were robbed in Oceanside early Thursday morning, Nassau police said.

Two 14-year-old boys were walking through the school yard at Oceanside School No. 3 on Fortesque Avenue when they were approached by two suspects, one armed with a cane, at 2:15 a.m., according to 4th Squad detectives. After taking the victims’ cell phones and an unknown amount of cash, the robbers fled the scene southbound on foot. The victims were not injured.

The suspects were described as a Hispanic man and black man. Detectives ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
