A Selden man was killed today when his vehicle hit a tractor trailer on Nicolls Rd..
Suffolk cops say James Conlon, of 1 Redwood Ct. was traveling northbound at 1:15 a.m. when his 2004 Saturn slammed into the rear of the tractor trailer, which was parked on the right shoulder.
Conlon was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician’s assistant from the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office at 4:15 a.m..
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
