Two brothers were arrested for a robbery that occurred in New Cassel on Friday, Nassau police said.
Lorne J. Daniels, 22, of Westbury and Melvin Daniels, 23, of New Cassel, and a third man approached two men at the corner of Prospect Avenue and State Street, displayed handguns and demanded money from the victims at 1 a.m., according to 3rd Squad detectives. The victims gave the suspects an undetermined amount of cash before they fled the scene, police said. 
Each suspect was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery, four counts of second-degree robbery and one count of criminal possession of a weapon. They will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Monday.

The investigation is continuing, police said.
