For two decades, the family of a slain 13-year-old girl and the parents of the man convicted of killing her have lived on the  same Valley Stream street in a state of war.

But peace may finally be coming to Horton Road.

A moving van was parked Saturday in front of the home where Robert Golub stabbed and sexually mutilated Kelly Ann Tinyes in 1989. A refrigerator, pink couch and other furniture sat in the driveway.

John and Elizabeth Golub refused to comment. A phone number listed for the home was disconnected.

The house has been listed for sale since February on real estate Web site Trulia.com. The price dropped in May by $20,000 to $379,000.

Kelly’s father, Richard, says that it’s about time the Golubs moved.
