“fred” you’re obviously just bitter you didn’t get a job offer at the end of your internship with the LIP. Probably because you don’t know what words mean. Because you obviously don’t get the concept of what an internship is. And honey, unless you’re a published writer with a resume 10 pages long, you’re going to have to work for free somewhere at first or you’re not going to make it in journalism–an industry that is cutting more and more jobs every day. If you’re not willing to make that kind of sacrifice for six months, then you don’t have the heart for this business. Sorry.

Fred I think you’re confusing us with…well, frankly I have no clue because that’s borderline insanity. You want to be paid to read our police blotters? Sounds great! What other activities can we reimburse you for performing? Visiting the Press website? Clicking your mouse?

  3. Fred Stafford says:

If you’re not gonna pay your interns to paraphrase police blotters, at least pay your website visitors to read it.
