Other than the police tape, things are back to normal on Bob O Link Lane today in Fort Salonga where a woman was arrested in connection with the stabbing death of her 54-year-old husband during a domestic dispute on Friday.
Suffolk police, who received a 911 call Friday morning that a man had been stabbed at the residence, said 48-year-old Kathleen Prisco’s husband, Ralph Prisco, was found with more than a dozen stab wounds. He was rushed to Stony Brook University Medical Center by helicopter where he was pronounced dead at 9:31 a.m.
Kathleen Prisco pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder Saturday morning and has been put on 24-hour suicide watch. The bail hearing has been postponed until Monday.

My condolences to the family. Shamefully, this sounds like the all too familiar case of making excuses before the facts are in. Why is it that most time a woman kills or beats her husband or partner, her defense is being set up in the very first Newsday article. Double-standards are killing this country one man at a time. I am new at the L.I. Press website and am holding out hope that the articles are a bit more objective. So far, so good.
