Jericho Home Depot Employee Arrested for Larceny

Nassau police arrested a Williston Park man who was employed as a cashier at a Home Depot in Jericho of allegedly giving fraudulent discounts to an accomplice.

Between June 6 and Oct. 31, Michael Gregus, 26, discounted assorted merchandise money-300x300-150x150without the permission of the store to an unidentified acquaintance who has yet to be arrested, police said. The store lost $5,184.00 as a result, according to 2nd Squad detectives.

Gregus was arraigned on charges of grand larceny and falsisying business records on Saturday morning at First District Court in Hempstead.
