I have been to this restaurant three times for lunch. I have had nothing but exquisite food there. The food is fresh, prepared as you wait (so bring a newspaper), and served hot and crisp. I have been there with multiple lunch partners and their dishes were equally as delectable! I look forward to trying new things on the menu. Their meat is tender and moist. I am so glad I found this small diamond in the rough restaurant!

Wow! Thanks for commenting. I did take out and had no problem but anyone willing to sitdown with his wife and explore gets my instant repect. Sorry to hear the place has declined.

Please heed my warning to avoid this establishment at all cost. The food served to us was rancid and inedible. As soon as the waitress placed the food on our table a waft of spoiled cream hit us with force. I am still wonder how they could actually serve food this bad. I had been to this location when it was Fonda Coyoacan and had an enjoyable experience; obviously a major change has occurred in the interim. My wife and I attempted to have dinner there on a Saturday night at about 6, no other customers for either sit down or take while we were there. We ordered sweet plantains and Nacho's with Guac for an appetizer. The Guac was offensive. Not to be deterred so easily we ordered enchiladas and tacos, the chicken and meat smelled rancid. To sum up we left out of fear for our health and headed straight for Oaxaca in Huntington village and had a wonderful meal. I am contacting the board of health; I would not expect this travesty of a restaurant to be open much longer. negative 5 stars, Eat here if you want to get sick and die.
