A Massapequa Park teenager was arrested Monday for calling police to falsely report a man with a gun at a park in his hometown, Nassau police said. nassaucopcar-300x1691

Victor Fabian, 17, repeatedly called 7th Squad detectives to report domestic incidents and when the investigators told him to stop calling, he then dialed 911 to report that there was a man with a gun at Brady Park, according to a police spokesman.

When officers arrived and found that there was no gunman in the park, detectives traced the call to Fabain’s cell phone.

He was charged with aggravated harassment for calling the detectives repeatedly, falsely reporting an incident for the 911 call and criminal possession of a controlled substance for pills that were found on him at the time of his arrest.
