Somewhere between Mariah Carey’s request for bottled water and a pink carpet/pink podium/magic wand combo, the folks at the Westfield Mall Complex in London got peeved. But really, it was the 100 white doves and 20 white kittens that took things over the top.

“We did manage to source the doves that we were going to release into the sky, but the kittens proved terribly difficult,” mall staff told the UK’s Daily Mail. “In the end, it was made clear that due to health and safety, there was no way we could have the animals at Westfield. Pets are not allowed in Westfield – that rule would apply for everyone.”

Britain Mariah CareyThe list of demands, known as a ‘rider,’ included an entourage of close to 100 and Carey being driven by Rolls Royce along a pink carpet to a pink podium where she would wave a wand to turn on the lights for Westfield’s Christmas Lighting Ceremony, as doves fluttered over her head and pink butterfly-shaped confetti surrounded her.
