Robert Kreisner, 55, pulled a car over following a traffic dispute with a man at the intersection of Lawson Boulevard and Anchor Boulevard and then displayed a badge purporting him to be “Honorary Police Commissioner of Hewlett Bay Park,” according to Nassau police.

The badge does not give Kreisner any police powers, police said.

Kreisner was charged with menacing and criminal impersonation. The badge was taken as evidence, police said.
