A Queens man was arrested Wednesday for an attempted murder in Hicksville last year, Nassau police said.
Xhafer Aliu, 26, of Fresh Meadows, fired two shots from a shotgun at a 33-year-old man while the victim was sitting in his car on Field Court, striking the victim once in the arm on the night of Nov. 29, 2008, according to 8th Squad detectives.

Aliu and the victim had prior disputes, police said.
Aliu was charged with second-degree attempted murder, assault, stalking and will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Thursday.
