A Shirley woman fatally stabbed her boyfriend early Friday morning, Suffolk police said.
Seventh Precinct officers responded to a Grand Avenue home where they found 45-year-old David Harris stabbed in the leg at 4:10 a.m.
Harris was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue where he later died.
Kathleen McGettigan, Harris’ 56-year-old live-in girlfriend, told officers she stabbed Harris in the leg during an argument, according to Homicide Squad detectives.
McGettigan was charged first-degree manslaughter and will be arraigned at Central Islip’s First District Court on Saturday.
