I went on the website to order a kit so I could swab my cheek at home and send it in, but what I found was that it costs $52.00. I just can NOT afford that. I want to join the marrow registry, as soon as possible. I was always told donating bone marrow was a terribly painful process. But I recently found this is just not true. After hearing Buttner's story I want nothing more than to be a match. I have not been successful in finding another drive in the near future in our area. If anyone can help me, please e-mail me at TinaB0503@aol.com. Please contact me shortly. There is a time when it is too late for a marrow transplant, so I want to hurry.
