A Bay Shore man was arrested Saturday for tattooing and piercing minors out of a studio at his residence, Suffolk County Police said.
Third Precinct officers arrested Wade Banks, of 1490 Brightshore Blvd., for operating a tattoo shop out of his home, which
he called “Aces Wild Tattoo.” According to police, Banks, 49, tattooed a 16-year-old and pierced the bellybutton of another minor.
Banks was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and three other misdemeanors. He was also issued three summonses under the Suffolk County Sanitary Code.

The homeowner, Theresa Mehit, 45, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and was issued summonses for code violations by Islip Town Code Enforcement. It is not clear how Mehit and Banks are related.
Banks will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip today.
