Three Hurt in East Patchogue Home Invasion

At least four masked men, all armed with handguns, broke into a Washington Avenue home and demanded cash from four people who were inside at 3:10 a.m., police said.

The suspects assaulted three victims and pistol-whipped one of them before the assailants stole cash and fled in a dark-colored vehicle, according to 5th Squad detectives

The victims were taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue where they were treated and released. No shots were fired.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
