Nassau police officers searching the car of a Westbury husband and wife arrested for attempting to make a drug sale found the couple’s sleeping toddler and a supply of heroin in her diaper bag.
Carlos Deleon, 22, and Marissa Deleon, 20, agreed to sell 100 bags of heroin to an undercover officer and drove to Lynbrook to complete the deal late Saturday night, according to Narcotics Squad detectives.
Police said they had their 17-month-old daughter in their car. More than 1,000 bags of heroin stamped “Gotham City” in the diaper bag turned up in a search of their Hyundai Elantra.
