By Long Island Press on Jan 21st, 2010

A Syosset teenager has been arrested for illegal possession of prescriptions pills on Wednesday, Nassau police said.

School officials found an unknown amount of Xanax and 11 Adderall pills on 16-year-old Christopher Camacho, of Woods Circle, while he was at Syosset High School shortly after 1 p.m., police said.

The school’s dean reported the incident to police, and following an investigation, Camacho was arrested and charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled  substance.

He will be arraigned today in First District Court in Hempstead.
