Alec Baldwin was hospitalized Thursday in New York City after his daughter–the same daughter Baldwin called a “rude, thoughtless little pig” in a voice mail tirade back in 2008–called 911 saying he had threatened to take pills after they argued, police say.

Ireland, now 14, called 911 at around 12:10 a.m. from Baldwin’s Central Park West apartment, an official told The Associated Press.

“This was a misunderstanding on one person’s part,” the 51-year-old actor’s spokesman, Matthew Hiltzik said in a statement. “Alec was quickly released from the hospital; he’s completely fine and will be at work today.”
