It could be last call for businesses selling drinking-themed games to teens on Long Island.
The games, with themes such as beer-pong, are sold in specialty stores in malls and elsewhere.

They’re intended for legal drinkers. But Suffolk County Legis. Tom Cilmi (R-Islip) says they attract teens.
His proposal calls for a $750 fine for merchants caught selling the games to people younger than 21. The fine would be $1,500 for subsequent violations.
It’s believed Suffolk could be the first municipality in the country to ban the sale of the games to young people.
Some retailers contend the real problem is stores that sell alcohol to minors.
In January, Cilmi had sent a letter to the corporate offices of Spencer’s Gifts and Gadgets and Gizmos, two stores located in the South Shore Mall in Bay Shore, asking them to remove drug paraphernalia and books on how to use drugs from the stores’ shelves.
