State police say a car drove into the back of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 80 in central Pennsylvania, killing the driver and a passenger, both Stony Brook University students.
Police in Columbia County say the car was heading west on I-80 in Mifflin Township when it hit the rear of the tractor-trailer at 12:23 a.m. Saturday.

They say the SBU students, 21-year-old Sean Finnegan of Lynbrook and his 18-year-old passenger, Paul Richards of Santa Cruz, Calif., were pronounced dead at 1:40 a.m. by county Deputy Coroner Linda Kessler.
Another passenger, 21-year-old Stanislav Gomberg of Ossining, N.Y., was flown to Geisinger Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition Sunday.
