2 Bus Accidents, 1 Minor Injury on L.I.

Eight people have been taken to the hospital following a minor accident between a school minibus and a car on Long Island.

The driver of the car, two adults on the bus and five children were being evaluated as a precaution.

The accident occurred in Yaphank at 8:35 a.m.

Minutes earlier, police said another accident involving a school bus and two cars occurred in Uniondale in Nassau County. Police say there were 12 students on board. It appears one student had a minor injury; the others were being evaluated.
