A two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Jericho early Saturday morning.

Nassau County police say 21-year-old Harris Fein of Jericho was driving his BMW eastbound on South Service Road when he rear-ended a Harley motorcycle being driven by 59-year-old Thomas Berg of Shirley at 12:10 a.m.

Berg was pronounced dead at the scene. The 60-year-old female passenger on the motorcycle was transported to Nassau University Medical Center for treatment and evaluation of shoulder pain.

Police say both vehicles have been impounded for complete testing and no charges are filed against the driver of the BMW at this time. The investigation is continuing.
