Miss Universe Pageant Competition Weekend, Pictures

The 83 contestants of the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant are finishing up semi-finals and preparing for the August 23 pageant.

The pageant takes place at the Mandalay Bay casino-resort in Las Vegas and will be televised.  The judges include Chynna Phillips, figure skating Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek, actress Jane Seymour and illusionist and Long Island native Criss Angel. William Baldwin, who is also from Long Island, is a judge as well. The hosts are Bret Michaels and NBC correspondent Natalie Morales.

The reigning Miss Universe is Stefania Fernandez of Venezuela.
