A man was shot to death in Inwood on Saturday night, Nassau County police said.

Officers were called to a 911 call for a disturbance and upon arrival they found the victim inside a building suffering from gun shot wounds at 8:56 p.m., police said.

The victim, whose identity was not immediately known, was pronounced dead at the scene 21 minutes later and was taken to the morgue at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow.

The victim was identified only as an approximately 30-year-old black man.
