Mt. Sinai Man Killed in Crash


An SUV crash claimed the life of a 63-year-old man in his hometown of Mount Sinai on Sunday morning.

Suffolk County police said Adrian Epstein was driving an Acura southbound on Plymouth Avenue when his vehicle struck a tree at 10:45 a.m.

Epstein, who was wearing his seatbelt, was taken to John T. Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson where he was pronounced dead at 11:32 a.m.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing.
