Evacuations are continuing as fast-moving wild fires in Boulder Colorado continue to spread and firefighters battle high winds to get the fire under control and contained.

On Monday morning, the fire started at 10 a.m. due to unknown causes, but officials say it’s the wind that turned this small brush fire into a massive inferno.

Businesses and properties have been destroyed, but no homes appear to have been affected by the blaze as of yet and no deaths have been reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and hundreds who live in the area are being evacuated, along with their pets, to a recreation center.
