HGTV’s Beach Cabana Royale hosted by Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi debuts Tuesday, Feb. 16, exclusively on the streaming service Discovery Plus.
The hour-long special takes place at Atlantic Beach, Long Island, where designers will compete against one another to create and transform cabanas for three families in one day.
“Here at Atlantic Beach, New York, cabanas are a huge way of life,” Polizzi said in a Discovery press release. “Not only do they provide shade from the summer heat, they’re also a place for friends and family to gather, play games, enjoy meals together and even shower off after you get all that sand in your bathing suit.”
The designers in this beach-themed special include Karla Graves, Wendell Holland and Delia Kenza.
Along with the famous Jersey Shore star checking in on the designers throughout the day, the special will also feature Orlando Soria from HGTV’s Build Me Up and Egypt Sherrod from HGTV’s Flipping Virgins and Property Virgins as judges.
“When the dreary cold days of winter set in, everyone is looking for the promise of a sunny, warm reprieve,” Lisa Holme, Discovery, Inc.’s senior vice president of content and commercial strategy, said in the press release. “You may not be able to take a tropical vacation right now, but we’re offering the next best thing. Grab a Mai Tai and some sunglasses for a beachy binge.”
Check out Beach Cabana Royale’s debut this Tuesday on Discovery Plus. The special is part of a collection of 26 beach-themed HGTV episodes streaming on the service each Tuesday, also including Beachfront Bargain Hunt, Mexico Life, Hawaii Life and Island Life.
