Murdoch, Bloomberg embrace immigration reform
WASHINGTON (AP) — Media mogul Rupert Murdoch, a man with his own immigration story, told Congress Thursday that securing the U.S. borders must be matched with efforts to ensure that employers can’t hire people who are here illegally. Murdoch and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg testified before a House immigration subcommittee that last week featured comedian Stephen Colbert, who gave tongue-in-cheek testimony on the plight of farmworkers

Ochocinco cereal box uses sex-line number
CINCINNATI (AP) — Charity-minded callers are getting intercepted by a phone-sex line because of a typo on Chad Ochocinco’s Cereal boxes. The phone number is supposed to connect callers to Feed the Children, which benefits from sales of the Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver’s cereal.
McDonald’s denies report of dropping health care
OAK BROOK, Ill. (AP) — The fast-food restaurant chain McDonald’s Corp. has denied a report that it’s considering dropping health care coverage for some employees in response to a health care reform provision.
