Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick suffered a blow to his head and was forced to leave Sunday’s game in Atlanta.

It went down while the QB, Vick was taken down where he collided with teammate, Todd Herremans’. Vick left the field with the help of a trainer as he spit blood, which later was revealed that he bit his lip.

Fans feared the worst. According to the Huffington Post, it was suspected that Vick suffered a neck injury. His coach reportedly revealed later that he suffered a concussion.

He did not return as the Eagles went on to lose 35-31. Currently, it’s not known when Vick will return. He is supposed to show face when the Eagles play the New York Giants in Week 3.

According to USA Today, with backup QB Vince Young inactive due to a hamstring injury, Mike Kafka made his NFL debut in place of Vick.

According to Guyism, the defender, Robinson may be slapped with a heavy fine for his controversial take down move.  But Robinson reportedly said it was a legal hit.

“I felt that it was a legal hit even though I was penalized in that instance,” Robinson reportedly said. “Again, I feel strongly that there will not be any further repercussion.”
