PayPal has cut off the WikiLeaks donation account, the company announced on a blog posting on Friday.

The Internet payment service says WikiLeaks has broken PayPal’s policy, ”which states that our payment service cannot be used for any activities that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity.”

So, if you had any plans on donating to WikiLeaks through the PayPal service, it is no longer possible and doing so will get you an error message that says, ”this recipient is currently unable to receive money.”
