This year, travel through the treetops on North America’s longest and highest ziplines.

Hunter Mountain has teamed up with New York Zipline Adventure Tours to provide the public with the longest and highest ziplines in North America.

The ziplines consist of three separate tours on Hunter Mountain. The three different tours are to accommodate every preference “from mild to wild”.  They will total almost 5 miles of ziplines, sky bridges and will even include challenges.

Two of the three planned courses opened at the Hunter Mountain this past spring and proved to be addicting with over 12,000 guests zipping through tours ever since. Just recently the final piece of the puzzle, the largest and the most electrifying, the Skyrider Tour, completed construction and is set to open December 18th.

“The three courses here at Hunter Mountain contain multiple ziplines, bridges and challenge elements and are each designed to create a very different experience for the guest, but the Skyrider Tour is not for everyone” warns Bradd Morse partner in NY Zipline Adventures, the company that operates the Zipline tours at this popular New York ski resort.

The new Skyrider Tour, which will operate year-round, will take guests an amazing 600’ above ground with ziplines of over 3000 ft. from platform to platform.  Through the challenging and exhilarating tour, guests will be accompanied by professionally trained guides as they fly through the sky.

Skiing is so last season, flying through the sky is taking over and this is the first time skiing will be put on the back burner at Hunter Mtn.

“New York Zipline Adventure Tours will be the biggest attraction to hit Greene County since our ski resorts opened. There’s nothing like it anywhere near the NY metro area,” said Warren Hart, Director of Greene County Economic Development, Tourism & Planning.
