Nanny Charged With Child Endangerment

A nanny has been accused of child endangerment after she allegedly gave an unknown liquid to an infant in her care, Nassau County police said.

Anneliese Brucato surrendered to police Sunday and was charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Second Squad detectives said the 48-year-old Plainview resident “administered a clear liquid into the mouth of the 4-month-old female victim, using a dropper” in Laurel Hollow on Friday afternoon.
