Amy Adams will be joining the superstar cast along side Kevin Costner and Diane Lane in the newest Superman movie. She will be playing Superman’s leading lady, Lois Lane.

Superman is set to be played by Henry Cavill, 28, who is best known for his role in The Count Of Monte Cristo and the Showtime series The Tudors. He was born on the Channel Islands and is one of five boys.

The new Christopher Nolan movie Superman: Man of Steel is based on a story by David S. Goyer and Nolan. Filming will take place at Vancouver Film Studios. It is set to be released in December 2012.

The new installment will be released in 3D as well.
