Along with the announcement of Amy Adams as Lois Lane in the latest movie ” Superman,” Henry Cavill will be playing the movie’s leading man!
The British actor just landed the coveted role of Superman. He will replace Brandon Routh and Christopher Reeve and portray the man of steel, Clark Kent, in “Superman: Man Of Steel.”
Cavill finally got his chance to play a super hero. He once auditioned for the rolle of Batman in 2005 but lost to Christian Bale and also auditioned for James Bond but lost to Daniel Craig.
The new Christopher Nolan movie, “Superman: Man of Steel” is based on a story by David S. Goyer and Nolan. Filming will take place an Vancouver Film Studios. It is set to be released in December 2012. The new installment will be released in 3D as well.
Cavill, 28, is best known for his role in The Count Of Monte Cristo and the Showtime series The Tudors. He was born on the Channel Islands is one of five boys.
